More ‘village’ than ‘villa’, Borgo Bastia Creti is a secluded little hamlet, whose intriguing old dwellings crown a hill, naturally screened in greenery. Restored in charmingly rustic style, the individual cottages and courtyard apartments are linked by brick paved paths and patios, and surrounded by extensive grounds with floral banks and fabulous views.

They range in size from a romantic retreat for two, La Limonaia, to Gli Olivi for up to four, the privately positioned Cottage and courtyard I Cipressi, each comfortably accommodating six guests, and the largest villa, Ginestre, spacious enough for eight.

  • Gli Olivi is well furnished and comfortable with pretty colour-washed walls, most suitable for couples or a small family

The Cottage – Sleeps up to 6 guests

  • This secluded cottage enjoys superb views and with its patio surrounded by a lawned area, it is an ideal retreat for small families or couples

I Cipressi – Sleeps up to 6 guests

  • Outside steps from the central courtyard lead up to the small entrance lobby of I Cipressi, and a graceful stone staircase takes you to the first floor of this spacious house
  • An elegant sitting room and large interior-designed kitchen provides enough room for 10 to 12 people, while lovely views across the estate, beautiful bathrooms, antiques and handsome fabrics make Cipressi a much sought after property
