Comfortably accommodating four guests, but making a romantic retreat if booked just for two, Villa Egnazia is a glass fronted house, with crisp white decor and an uncluttered style. Outside, a brick-laid driveway leads to large lawns, punctuated with old olive trees, and screened for privacy with high hedges and white walls draped in bougainvillea. Inside is an open-plan living area, the clean lines of a contemporary kitchen raised three steps above the sitting/dining room, where floor to ceiling windows look out to the garden and pool. The monochrome interiors are spiced here and there with mustard highlights; and there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a chic shower room in bronzy earth tones.
