We are delighted  to include the traditional island of Ithaca to our portfolio of villas. This makes a wonderful, twin centre island villa holiday with Kefalonia or Lefkada.

The views from The Bay House encapsulate all that is best about this beautiful island: hillsides covered in wild thyme, olive and cypress trees, a natural harbour with translucent blue sea below, and the roof tops of Vathy.

The house has been designed to reflect all this, surrounded by wide terraces, which catch the sea breeze on hot summer days, while the comfortable modern interiors are light and sunny.

Vathy itself with its lively waterfront, shops and traditional tavernas is just a short drive away as is the nearest little bay.

Transfers to Ithaca

  • Kefalonia airport to Sami port by private taxi or minibus 50min
  • Waiting time at Sami port is usually short at the port café
  • Sami port to Ithaca (Pisaetos) by sea taxi or ferry and depending on the mode of transport the journey will take 40-50 minutes

Villa Location

  • Explore the traditional village of Vathy with scrumptious tavernas, cafes just a 5 minute drive away
